Lorna Domke
President/Director – Sharing the magic of nature was the focus of Lorna’s career as a writer, filmmaker and education leader before retiring from the Missouri Dept. of Conservation. Now her goal is to create a welcoming place so visitors can experience the magic of nature at the PGT.

Pat Raven
Board Member – Pat offered support and advice to the PGT for years as she visited with then board member Peter Raven. In 2025 she formally joined the Board. Her valuable perspective comes from an education in horticulture and experience as former Executive Director of Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens and Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

Carol Davit
Board Member – Carol is the executive director of the Missouri Prairie Foundation, a nonprofit land trust. Over her 20+ years in conservation and environmental fields, Carol’s work has included land protection, sustainable use of natural resources, and conservation education.

Matt Barnes
Groundskeeper – Matt joined the PGT full-time in 2010. He puts his great knowledge of native plants to use in controlling invasive plants and adding new natives. His experience with prescribed fires as well as TSI also keep the PGT landscape thriving.

Neal Hansum
Horticulturist – Neal joined the PGT in 2015 after gardening at Lauritzen Gardens, training at Longwood Gardens and working at a private garden in Massachusetts. He hopes that sharing his passion for nature and design will help the PGT flourish.
