American Lotus, Nelumbo lutea

Lotus is a native wildflower that produces huge beautiful flowers. They can be as big as a cabbage.

To see the lotus at the Prairie Garden Trust (PGT), follow the paved sidewalk to the Lotus Ponds, about a 10-minute walk from the PGT Center.
