American Lotus, Nelumbo lutea

Lotus is a native wildflower that produces huge beautiful flowers. They can be as big as a cabbage.

You can see them at the Prairie Garden Trust (PGT) now, just follow the sidewalk to the Lotus Ponds, about a 10-minute walk from the PGT Center.
