Antique Tractors Pass the PGT

The big excitement here in the country today was the trail of old tractors winding their way up the road from New Bloomfield on the first of two rides totaling 20 miles. old tractorWe (Joan and Lorna Domke and Will Marshall) sat and waved as some of the 100 or so registered passed by. The purpose of it was a fundraiser for the Callaway County Historical Society. They had noted historical locations along the way, including the Caldwell pottery which had been active between 1826-70 or so on our land as well as the Newsom farm (where Celia, a slave, killed Robert Newsom in the 1800s) which is down the road on Forest Service land I believe.
