Baltimore Oriole

Icterus galbula

Baltimore Oriole, (Icterus
galbula)
One of the showiest birds at the PGT is the Baltimore Oriole. The are common but even with this flashy plumage you probably won’t see one. They seem to stay hidden behind leaves at the tops of the trees. I was only able to get this photograph because this male wanted some of the grape jelly that we have in our Oriole feeder.
