The winner for the best fall color this year goes to Aromatic Sumac. This native shrub has been looking great for several weeks. On my walk yesterday I found that that it’s still showing intense reds and oranges.

At the PGT look for this sumac on the western edge of Indigo Prairie, right where you enter “The Savanna”; the edge of those woods is filled with it.
