The colorful pattern created by the tall stalks of this grass caught my eye. 

One problem at the PGT now is that the tall prairie grasses lean into the paths. It’s especially annoying on early morning walks when the grasses are covered in dew; my clothing routinely gets soaked. To help with this we use a weed whip every September to trim the grasses along the edge.
