Henry stands in the newly created open area at the edge between prairie and woods. It’s amazing how “sculpting” away some trees expands the views. Looking past Henry in the photo, you can see some of the remaining woods that finger out into the prairie, then open again beyond that.

Dragging the big cedar behind the tractor really smoothed out the ground after the highlift cleared the trees. Now we just have to plan the seed mix of flowers and grasses to scatter there in December.
