Trees dying along Hillers Creek

As the drought continues we are starting to loose some big trees. In this picture from this morning you can see leaves turning brown in some of the trees along the ridge over Hillers Creek.

On the bottom left of this picture you can see the Great Blue Heron rookery. The chicks fledged in June. This time of year there are usually only a few herons and some Turkey Vultures.
