Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the beautiful wildflowers and diverse ecology at PGT? Join us for a walk to explore and discuss the area’s geologic history and features, including an impressive Devonian coral reef, interesting rock formations, the bedrock sequence, and the role of regional glaciation. The trip will be led by Eric & Joanna Reuter, hosts of the YouTube channel Ozark Outsider (www.youtube.com/@ozarkoutsider), which explores geologic, ecologic, and human influences on the regional landscape.

Time: 1:30 pm; allow up to three hours
Difficulty: This trip will be moderately rugged, involving a fair amount of walking and some off-trail scrambling (conditions permitting) for those who wish to access certain outcrops.
