With more than 9 inches of sparkling snow and nowhere we need to go, this is one of those sit-by-the-fire days, those very quiet days, by the PGT. As we ate lunch, Henry caught sight of a fox squirrel, grabbed his camera, and snapped this photo:
It’s fun to have two kinds of squirrels hanging around. I think we have more gray squirrels in general here, but sometimes see a lot of the fox squirrels. This one is in an oak tree which is described as a primary type of tree it uses. It looks more rat-like than I usually picture them, but maybe that’s because it’s cold today.
