Gilbertson Bluebird House

As you stroll the trails at the PGT you will see these bluebird houses; we have over 60 of them. Bluebirds, Chickadees and Titmice use them. Despite the fact that they work well I am considering taking them down. The problem is that raccoons have figured out how to pull them down. The other problems is that they are not attractive. I’m considering creating natural cavities in standing dead trees. With all the work we have done in our woods, we have a lot of standing dead trees.
