Great Blue Heron, (Ardea herodias)
We are lucky to have a Great Blue Heron rookery here at the PGT. The rookery’s 60 stick nests are scattered over 5 of the largest Sycamore trees along Hiller’s Creek. Here I photographed a heron coming in to land on one of the nests.
