Green Haze

Potters Lake

A view of Potter’s Lake this morning. For the next two weeks there will be a green haze in the woods as leaves emerge. In three weeks the leaves will be fully out.

Potter’s Lakes gets it’s name from the pottery that was here in the early 1800s. The first European settler on the PGT was Thomas Caldwell. He started Caldewell Pottery here and it grew into a thriving industry in the 1830s. They made salt glaze stoneware.
