Indian Rock Shelters

I enjoy thinking about what this land was like in the past. If you go back 1,500 to 2,000 years ago there were Woodland Indians here. They used rock shelters on the south side of The Point. Those shelters were explored by an archeological dig in the 1970s. Now that the leaves have fallen it is easier to see where those shelters are.
