Kentucky Warbler

Oporornis formosusKentucky Warbler

Usually I find these beautiful warblers in the bottomland along Hiller’s Creek. They like to hide in shrubby thickets. That’s why I was surprised a couple of years ago when this one was sitting on a branch a few feet from our house.

If you click on the image to zoom in and look closely you can make out the reflection of our house in the eye.
