Kentucky Warbler, (Oporornis formosus)
I’ve never had any luck photographing Kentucky Warblers. When one was seen in the bottomland along Hiller’s Creek on the birdwalk on Saturday I knew I had to come back and try again to get a picture.
The books describe them as secretive inhabitants of deep deciduous woodlands with extensive shade and shrubby growth. Today I had luck and was able to get this picture.
