Lanceleaf Coreopsis

Lanceleaf coreopsis

Lanceleaf Coreopsis, (Coreopsis lanceolata)
If you take a walk at the PGT in the next few weeks you are likely to find small clusters of these beautiful spring wildflowers. The Native Plant Database at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center says:
“Lance-leaved coreopsis is the most common coreopsis and is easy to grow. It is drought tolerant but is not a reliably perennial.”
