Sugar maples are showing very good color right now. 

I’m still waiting to see what the oaks are going to do. Oaks are the most common tree in our forest, and right now they are mostly green. Some years oaks have wonderful fall color, but most years they turn a boring brown color.

At the PGT the best place to find sugar maples is along the north side of the path to The Point.
