The asters are just starting to bloom, just in time for the Monarch Butterfly migration. My favorite aster, and the one you see here is New England Aster. It’s an extremely attractive native wildflower and the butterflies love it. 

At the PGT you can find New England Asters anywhere there is full sun. An easy place to find it is in the garden right outside the front door of the PGT Center.
