Monarch Butterfly, Danaus plexippus

Monarchs are moving through on migration now. After the rain, the New England asters popped and the butterflies have been feasting on them everyday for the past couple weeks. 

Meanwhile the hummers at our feeders are way down – they’re already headed south.
