Native to the Americas, this elusive predator symbolizes wilderness and adaptability, thriving in diverse habitats—including the Prairie Garden Trust. Remarkably, one was spotted just a mile away, hit by a car on the road. I captured this photograph at the zoo and was struck by its poised and dignified demeanor.
