I hope we can look like Mt. Cuba some day. They are a “naturalistic garden” which means that not all plants are native, but they look like they are. At the PGT we use only plants that are native to Missouri. The PGT may be similar in size (600 acres) but Mt. Cuba’s budget is hundreds of times bigger than ours.
The woods at Mt. Cuba are filled with majestic old tulip trees. There are openings in the woods with small ponds like the one I photographed above.
