Another small native tree that’s showing some great color now is Serviceberry. If you catch the sun just right so that the leaves are backlit, the color can be intense. 

To see Serviceberry at the PGT look along the ridges and bluffs above Hiller’s Creek. They seem to prefer open rocky woods.
