Serviceberry, Amelanchier arborea

On a walk to Hiller’s Creek yesterday we were surprised to find the Serviceberry in full bloom; 2-weeks earlier than normal! 

This native small tree can be found on the rocky bluffs over Hillers Creek and in the edge of the forest.
