George Yatskievych told us many wonderful plant stories on the PGT Spring Wildflower Walk today. Everyone was entertained and educated. For awhile it looked like walk might be rained out but the rain (4-inches in the past day!) stopped just before the walk started.

As one person on the walk said, George is a walking plant encyclopedia. And he enjoys sharing his knowledge!

George is a botanist at the Missouri Botanical Garden and is working on the 3rd volume of the Flora of Missouri. That is the definitive source used for Missouri plants.
