Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, (Polioptila caerulea)
Taking pictures in the rain; especially bird pictures is not a good idea. However, this morning I wanted to get out and see what new migrants had arrived overnight. Despite getting wet the light level was so low that it was hard to get any pictures. I was still glad to get out and I did manage to get this Blue-gray Gnatcatcher looking for insects along newly emerged leaves.
Gnatcathers are common birds that nest here at the PGT.
