Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus

Yesterday, I spotted my first swallowtail of the season. It was busy feeding on a crabapple.

Lately, Bradford Pears are the big thing I’ve noticed lining the roads these past couple of weeks. I wish people would remove these invasive pests – they’re taking over the landscape.
