Matt & Duncan work full time for the PGT. This winter they have spent a lot of time clearing the down trees along the forested edge of the Dog Leg Prairie. By removing more than half of the trees along the edge of the forest we are creating a gradual transition from the prairie into the woods. This savannah edge should be particularly rich with flowers and wildlife.

I’m hoping that within a couple weeks the major work will be over. Just in time to enjoy the Spring flowers!
