Jim D. Wilson and his biology students from William Woods University explored the Prairie Garden Trust on Thursday to see what vertebrate life they could find. They’ll be returning next week to seine the ponds and creek.

We expect students from Westminster College on Sunday and Wednesday next week, too. And yesterday morning some of the Bittersweet Garden Club members returned to gather a few lotus leaves for casts that they’ll be making. So these diverse habitats are getting lots of use of exactly the sort we hope to share.
