George Davis with Lorna photographing rocks at The Point

George Davis helped Lorna identify rocks at the PGT today. His enthusiasm had me looking at the rocks more carefully than ever before. He was particularly excited about the fossilized coral reef from 400 million years ago. In the picture above he is looking up at the rock shelters along the south side of The Point.

George is a geologist with the Missouri Department of Transportation.
