Wild Onion, (Allium stellatum)
Just in front of the entrance to the PGT Visitor Center is the Circle Garden. Today I found this wild onion in full bloom there. Another common name for this plant is Wild Leek; supposedly it is a delicacy.

In the Spring a less attractive relative (Wild Garlic, Allium canadense) can be found on the property.
