Spring blooms have just begun but we’re already planning ahead for our annual wildflower walk in late spring. Expert botanists George and Kay Yatskievych will lead the walk on Saturday June 1, 2013. We’ll start about 9 a.m. at the PGT visitor center.

If we’re lucky we’ll see not only wildlflowers, but also the life they support. The photo here was one Henry took as we strolled the dogleg prairie one June day. Butterflies absolutely mobbed the milkweed.
